When I heard it was going to snow on the day of the Colella's family, I texted them, and they were still game for the session. I love that! We walked around the quiet Long Hill and Sedgwick Gardens in Beverly, MA as the snow softly fell.
Holiday cards are rolling in, which means I can release some of the images I've been keeping under wraps! The Turcotte kids were ready for fun at the Ingraham Christmas Tree Farm in Georgetown, MA!
Multiples have a special place in my heart. Twenty years ago, my sister went in for her regular ultrasound appointment, and the doctor said, "There's two in there." My sister replied.... "Two what?!" Over the years, it has been so rewarding to see my twin nieces grow into young women; from the time they were babies they had a very special bond, often sleeping nose to nose in the crib.
Needless to say, I was excited for this family photo session with these adorable twins this fall at Appleton Farms in Ipswich, MA. I am sure they will have a bond like none other.
Ingraham Christmas Tree Farm was the perfect setting for holiday mini sessions this year. Meet Finn, a stylish Boston Terrier with his human "sister"; these two were just too adorable!
I first met Mark and Kate 9 years ago at church. Over the years, we have become good friends. Two years ago, I went to their home for an in home newborn session for their daughter. I was back again recently as they have just become a family of five! Big brother was excited to hold Carter, while little sister was more interested in the fresh muffins in the kitchen. (Can you blame her?) I love telling your family story through in home lifestyle sessions- the sweet new baby moments, the silly 5 year old faces, and yes... the muffins. Welcome to the world, Carter!
When this toddler's parents referred to his vest as his "Stranger Things vest" I knew we would hit it off. Appleton Farms in Ipswich was the perfect setting for their fall family photos. Kristin is the Director of The Wenham Museum, a local treasure on the North Shore. (my kids love it!), and Elliot had me laughing the entire time. Great to meet you, Noon family!

Why do toddlers always want to eat leaves? It's a mystery. I LOVE experiencing fall through a toddler's eyes... the colors, the crunchy leaves, the gentle wind. Everything is an experience for them! The Ball family and I had a fun afternoon at Appleton Farms in Ipswich, MA.
One of my new favorite things to do is in home sessions. I love capturing families where they are, how they are. There is something so special about it, so natural. When you invite me into your home, know that I am a mom too. The pile of toys, the newborn peeing/pooping, nursing, diapers, meltdowns... it's all part of the process and doesn't bother me in the least.
This family welcomed sweet Anna about one week before this shoot. Big sister was very excited (and bribed with some special snacks). We had a fun morning together and captured some special moments.
I first met Shannon at a birthday party, where I was taken with her adorable toddler twins. Since then, I have photographed their family every year in the fall, and it has been a joy to watch them grow! We met up at Appleton Farms in Ipswich, MA for this family photo session. Shannon is now the editor of North Shore Macaroni Kid , which is a great resource for parents and caregivers!
